HANDRAILS SYSTEM

"ABOUT THIS TYPE"

Safety handrails are an important feature in warehouses to help prevent falls and injuries.

They are installed along the edges of mezzanines, platforms, stairs, and other elevated areas to provide support and stability for workers as they move around the facility.

There are several types of safety handrails that can be used in warehouses:

1. Top rail handrails are the most visible and are typically located at a height of 42 inches above the floor.

2. Mid-rail handrails are installed halfway between the top and bottom rails and are used to provide additional support and stability.

3. Bottom rail handrails are located at a height of 6 inches above the floor and are used to protect workers from tripping and falling.

In addition to providing safety, handrails can also be used to create a visual separation between pedestrian areas and forklift traffic and to define walkways and corridors within the warehouse.
